          Russell F. Hale, 79, of Glasgow died Saturday, August 21, 2004 at the Cal Turner Extended Care Pavilion.  He was the son of the late Fred Hale and Libby Post Hale.  He was a retried lineman after 43 years from Farmers Rural Electric.  

          Survivors include his wife Dell Settles Hale; three sons: Russell H. Hale and his wife Yolanda of Louisville, Jerry D. Hale and his wife Jenise of Louisville and Grover Hale and his wife Micah of Glasgow; three daughters: Barbara Holder and her husband David of Austin, Doris Adwell and her husband Larry of Austin and Nancy Smith and her husband Dale of Elizabethtown; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  

          Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Charles Hale and two sisters: Clair Compton and Lorene Syree.  

          Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery .  Visitation will be after 11:00 A. M. Monday at the funeral home.
