Joseph B. Harlow, Sr., 71, Griderville, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the T. J. Samson Community.   A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late William E. and Ellery Vanzant Harlow, a retired farmer and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.

          Survivors include one son: Joseph B. Harlow, Jr. and his wife, Tina of Glasgow; three daughters: Carolyn London and her husband, David of Hiseville, Debbie Gerald and her husband, Roger, and Bonnie England and her husband, Ronnie all of Glasgow; one half-sister,  Imogene Clark of Louisville; a special friend, Nell Francis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Conchita "Penny" Wood Harlow. 

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
