          Robert Frank Lawrence, 83, Smiths Grove, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 , at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green .  A son of the late L. H. and Josie Lawrence, he was a retired farmer, a member of the Baptist faith, a veteran of WW II and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.  

          Survivors include one son, Gary Lee Lawrence of Smiths Grove; one daughter, Patricia Ann Parker of Smiths Grove; one son-in-law, Karleen Hawks of Taylorsville ; one brother, Bill Lawrence of Louisville ; a special friend, Irene Ayers of Three Forks; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.  

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Florence Richey Lawrence and one daughter, Dorothy Jean Hawks.  

          Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
