    William W. Lytle, Sr., 88, of Edmonton died Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at the Glenview Nursing Home.  He was born in Erie, PA.  He was the son of the late George B. Lytle and Effie Carr Lytle.  He was a retired U.S. Army Major and a Professional Engineer.

    He is survived by two sons: William W. Lytle, Jr. of Edmonton, Ky. and Richard A. Lytle of Naples, Fl.  one brother: Neal A. Lytle of St. Maartin Island.  Four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Pullin Lytle of Mt. Sterling, Ohio in 1981.                

          There was a memorial service 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Mt. Sterling Cemetery in Mt. Sterling, Ohio.
