    Lester Byron “Joe” Tanner, 59 of Jackson, TN., died Saturday, April 12, 2003 in Jackson, TN.  He was the son of the late Lester and Edith Dillard Tanner and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. 

          He is survived by his wife Stephanie Tanner; three sons: Joey Tanner of California, Jeff Tanner of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jimmy Tanner of Illinois; one daughter: Lisa Doan of Hot Springs Arkansas; one grand aughter: Tessa; one brother: Maurice Tanner of Hot Springs, Arkansas; four sisters: Rose Mary Shankle of Jackson, Tennessee, Lillian Glasier of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Carol Porter and Margaret Phifer both of Malvern, Arkansas. 

          Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
