          Ella E. Thompson, 92, Glasgow, died Monday, February 21, 2005, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.  A native of Oldham County, she was a member of the Harrod’s Creek Baptist Church, where she was also a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the WMU.  She was also a former member of the Frisky 50’s at Middletown Christian Church. 

          Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Holmes of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Deborah Modjeski and her husband, Dave, of Pennsylvania, and Thomas E. Holmes, Jr. of Glasgow; two sisters, Ethel Hubert and her husband, Elmer, and Nell Hagan, all of Louisville.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Eugene Thompson. 

          Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Friday, February 25, 2005, at the Louisville Memorial Gardens East.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow and the M. A. Stoess & Sons Funeral Home in Crestwood.
