Jerry Reece Zapatka, 72, of Bradenton, Florida, died on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.

 
She was the beloved mother of Jenny Kieswetter who survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Zapatka, step-son, Gary Zapatka, parents, Lenis and Annie Reece, brother, Morris “Chick” Reece of Corinth, MS, sisters, Roselle Moran and Jessie Vestal of Indianapolis, IN., and Jackie Crenshaw of Decatur, AL.

 
She was a retired business manager of EZ Planner Restaurant Developers and was also a former managerial secretary at Holley Carburetor.

Mrs. Zapatka is also survived by son-in-law, Bob Kieswetter, grandsons, Robert Kieswetter and wife, Rachel of Nashville, TN; Chad Kieswetter and wife Cindy of Lisle, IL; great-grandson, Ryan Kieswetter of Nashville, TN; step-sons Ray Zapatka and wife Laura of Carol Stream, IL; Edward Zapatka, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; Lee Zapatka of Santa Ana Heights, CA; brother, Carter Reece and wife Evelyn of Glasgow, KY; sisters, Edna Erwin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Helen Barbour of Indianapolis, IN, and Billie Ann Bradshaw of Lexington, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass for Jerry and Edward Zapatka, who died January, 7,
2005 will be held on Thursday, February 3, 3:00 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Smallhouse Rd. in Bowling Green, KY. Visitation will be at the Church from 1:30-3:00 PM on Thursday.
