Keith Garmon
December 1, 1977 ~ July 19, 2020
Keith Garmon, 42, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1977 in Glasgow, a son of Ronnie and Barbara Wilson Garmon. He was an active and dedicated member of Calvary Temple Church in Columbia. He had been Pastor of The River Church in Glasgow and a bus driver for Barren County Schools. Keith’s love for the Lord shined through him in everything he did. Keith gave his heart to Jesus at an early age. He loved to sing, worship, teach, and preach. Keith put God first and loved his family more than life.
Survivors include his wife Amanda Read Garmon; four children: Abby, Matthew, Ally, and Kempton Garmon; his parents, Ronnie and Barbara Garmon; two brothers: Jeff Garmon (Tina) and Josh Garmon (Jessica); one sister, Sara Garmon; his mother-in-law, Rita Read; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one sister, April Garmon; his grandparents: Charlie and Willie Jo Garmon and Paul and Mae Wilson; his parents-in-law, Kemp and Faye Read; and a nephew, Joel Wayne Read II.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Temple Church in Columbia. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at 4 pm Wednesday. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
There are no words that can give you peace but k ow only God takes the best .keith ‘s light always shined bright no matter how dark times got he knew what he was working for to reach Heaven. Your pain & loss is something only God can help you with but know this Godly man will be waiting for you all . And that your sweet family is in our prayers until the day God calls us all home . Remember God only takes the best ??????

I know there are no words to heal a broken heart. There’s nothing that any of us could ever do or say that could ease the trial that you are going through. All I know is that Bro Keith was one of a kind who never allowed his faith to waiver throughout his journey. He always tried to have a smile no matter how bad he felt. He will be greatly missed because he was loved by so many! One thing is certain, Bro Keith fought a good fight and he kept the faith and now his race is won! We think a lot of you all and we want you to know that we are covering you all in prayer in the days ahead because I know it won’t be easy but never hesitate to ask for anything because we will only be a message or phone call away!

Sorry for ur loss, I know sometimes we don’t understand God’s plan. And as hard as it is, we just have to follow it anyway. And a lot of times, like now it’s not easy. We have to continue to keep our trust and faith in God. Knowing that one day we will see our love ones again. May God comfort u all as only he can. And knowing Bro. Keith is with Jesus now.
