Oma Jo Sprouse Brand, 83, Indianapolis, Indiana, died Monday, September 4, 2006, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Born August 11, 1923, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Cecil Bryan Sprouse. She was a homemaker and member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, John S. Brand; a daughter, Christina Bonnewell; one grandson, John Paul Bonnewell; step grandchildren, Erica Gary and Ella Bonnewell; step great grandchildren, Dakkota Gary, Montana Gary, Jacob Bonnewell and Brooklyn Poynter.
The family chose cremation. A memorial service will be held at the Fairview Presbyterian Church 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006, with a family reception to follow at the church. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Fairview Presbyterian Church, 4609 N. Capital, Indianapolis, IN 46208. Local arrangements are under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
