Katherine D. Miller Locke
March 10, 1946 ~ August 15, 2020
Katherine D. Miller Locke, 74, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Davenport and Virginia Rager Davenport. Katherine was a care give and a pastor.
She is survived by two sons: Johnny Miller and Danny Miller; three grandchildren: Brandon Kyle Miller and his wife Cindy, Kerr Tyler Miller and Lauren Ashley McDowell and her husband David; two great-grandchildren: Zella Grace Miller and Derek Cash McDowell.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at the funeral home.
In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are required.
I am so very sorry for your loss…I met Kathy at Highland Ridge when she first worked there and then got to know her in her time as a care giver there. I will always remember her as a loving and very dear friend! I so enjoyed hearing her singing, she had such a heart for the Lord! She was such a helpful and kind friend and will be dearly missed. God bless you all….

I’m so sorry to hear about Kathy. She was just a wonderful lady. She stayed with my sister Bonnie Sherfey when she was in the nursing home. She was like family. May you find peace and comfort.
I am sorry for your loss of Kathy she was an amazing lady and was always so sweet to everyone she never stayed mad for long and was just a wonderful person.
Oh, how sorry I was to hear about Kathy’s passing! She had been part of our ladies’ Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist, and we miss her dearly. We are praying for you, her family, in this time of loss. She will be greatly missed!

This was my aunt ! I loved you so much ?? my world would have been nothing with out you in it . You will be with Uncle Bonnie now an for ever in my heart. God rest your beautiful soul Aunt Kathy you will be missed so much.
Bob and I thought a lot of Kathy. I know you both will be lost without her. I still remember the early days how she would sing with dad in the basement and even at some churches. She loved to sing and she loved her family. You were blessed to say the least. Prayers for days ahead. Draw strength from the Lord…Bob & Karen Casey.

Kathy is my Aunt. I live in Wyoming now. We have been writing back and forth. My brother leaves in the old homestead, where Kathy was born and raised. My father was Norman Davenport. Granddad Ben’s first family. I am so sorry to hear about the accident. I will miss writing to Kathy and her writing back. I will be praying for her and the family.

So sorry to hear about Kathy ….She was a very sweet kind lady ….she was my Daddy’s caregiver and was always trying everyday to make him comfortable in his last days of battling cancer …..and was so supportive to his Family during that time ….Kathy will be greatly missed by lots of people …..Love her so much …..Prayers for her Family !! ??
