Leta L. Pierce
January 17, 1940 ~ October 19, 2020
Leta L. Pierce, 80, Glasgow, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green. A native of Texas, she was the daughter of the late John M. Landrum and Mary Gurley Landrum. She was involved in many facets of life; of late, she was retired manager of a retail art store.
Survivors include one son Randy Pierce and his wife Beth of Glasgow; two daughters-in-law: Debbie Pierce and Jennifer Bivens; one brother, John Landrum and his wife Nancy of New Orleans; six grandchildren; one great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Reece Pierce and Russ Pierce.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 am on Friday. Burial will take place at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Texas on Monday, November 2.

Leta was such a charismatic, eloquent speaker and a very thoughtful woman. She would lighten up a room with her incredible sense of humor and her fun-loving flare. She dearly loved and cherished her family and friends. Fond memories of Leta will be kept in our hearts for many years to come. My heartfelt sympathies to her Amazing Son, Randy; her Dear Daughter-in-law, Beth; their five incredible children plus wonder-filled Samuel (Leta’s six Grandchildren); and her wonderful Brother, John and his wife (Sister-in-law to Leta), Nancy, as well as her numerous dearly loved friends. May she rest in peace with her wondrous parents and Beloved Sons, Reece and Russ. Leta was passionate and hilariously funny. She was an authentic friend.

God Bless You Leta, I could hear her southern drawl even in her laughter. We had some fun times roaming art shops and window shopping paintings.
