Roy Joe Gibson, 67, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at his residence. He was a son of the late Porter M. and Maudie Ford Gibson. He worked at Mallory Capacitors and 3A Composite in Glasgow.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Ann Young Gibson; one daughter: Ashley Smith and her husband Brandon; three grandchildren: Bridgette Smith, Carson Smith and Caleb Smith several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers: James Walton, Bobby Gibson Raymond Gibson, Junior Gibson, Ralph Gibson and four sisters: Ella Mae Johnson, Virginia Robertson, Patsy Smith and Janie Gibson.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
