Charles M. Elmore
February 22, 1941 ~ October 4, 2021
Charles “Charley” Milza Elmore, 80, of Glasgow, died on Monday, October 4, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. He was the son of the late Col. Milza and Annie Lewis Elmore. Also, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Eddie Berry, Wilma Guffey and Patricia Pickett.
Charley was a lifelong resident of Barren County. In his younger years he farmed, attended the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard. Later he served as a Barren County Magistrate and President of the Jaycees. Additionally, he was a faithful steward of St. Helen’s Catholic Church. However, Charley was best known as the Broker/Owner of Elmore Real Estate for more than 50 years. He was an avid golfer that enjoyed playing at the Glasgow Golf and Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Diana Culver Elmore; three children: Cindy Craig (Anthony), Mike Elmore (Kendra), Beth Hinkley (Jeff); nine grandchildren: Devin Williams (Whitney), Kameron Williams, Blake Craig, Chesney Craig, Kristen Elmore (Keegan Nanan), Mason Elmore, Madison Elmore, Ryan Hinkley and Katie Hinkley; a brother: John Ray Elmore (Jo Brent); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Services are being arranged by Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.

The Glasgow High School class of 1959 all loved Milza! He was always kind and considerate to everyone. Each of us will have our memories of him, and we will miss seeing & being with him. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. I hope it helps to know that so many are thinking of you.
