Juanita Bybee

Juanita Louise Grider Bybee, 92, Glasgow, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, March 21, 2022. A native of Elbow, KY in Monroe County, she was born May 28, 1929 to the late Wade and Gertrude (Hoffman) Grider. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles H. Bybee, Jr; and her siblings: Audrey Brown, Mazel Boone, Ima Biggerstaff, Eddie Bunch, Otha Grider, Odell Grider, Cordell (J. C.) Grider, and infant sister Roberta Grider.
Juanita remained very active during her lifetime, working until her retirement at the age of 84. During her career, she had been employed at Ely Drugs, George J’s, Decorator’s Supply, and the USDA office. She was a faithful member of the Westwood Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son Wade Bybee (Mary); her granddaughters Kasey Austin (Cory), and Ashley Bybee; great-grandchildren: Rylie Bybee, Cooper Austin, and Ellis Austin; special niece Rhonda Jones; special nephew Delton Brown (Norma) of Indiana; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and continue Thursday morning at the funeral home.
