JoAnne Ball
March 13, 1935 ~ July 3, 2009
JoAnne Ball, 74, of Glasgow, died Friday, July 03, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Woods Richardson and Pearl Shaw Richardson. She attended Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Knob Lick.
She is survived by one son: Anthony Ball and his wife Bess; one daughter: Lisa Ball Davis and her husband Brian; seven grandchildren: Amanda Tucker, Shelby Christopher, Tony Davis Joshua Davis, Emily Davis, Justin Davis and Brooke Davis; two brothers: Tom Woods Richardson and William Richardson; one sister Lucy Crain.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bernice “B.Ball” Ball; two brothers: Jimmy Richardson and Jack Richardson; one sister: Kathryn Elliott.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Reaching back into the memories of my childhood – I don’t recall a time when Jo wasn’t smiling or making a joke – regardless of the situation – putting everyone at ease around her. Her arms were ~always~ open to give the best hug and sweet , funny words were always included. She will be missed terribly.
