Carolyn “Carrie” Lessenberry Carter, 92, of Hiseville died Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Kate Parrish Owen and late husbands Bob Lessenberry and Gilbert Carter. A lifetime resident of Hiseville and the Coral Hill community, a retired schoolteacher with the Barren County School System. She was a member of the Coral Hill Church of Christ and a Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer.
Survivors include several cousins, including Norma Lyons of Glasgow, and special friends Carl & Viola Whitaker.
Funeral will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 6:00 P. M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
