Chester Wilson, 79, Glasgow, died Monday, December 17, 2007, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Horace Blackston Wilson and Lillie Pearl Riddle Wilson. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a 25 year employee of Sorensen Manufacturing.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Helen Neal Renfro Wilson; one daughter, Carrie Wilson Tutt (Richard) of Glasgow; one son, Chester Wayne Wilson of Arizona; three grandchildren, Logan Tutt, Cameron Tutt and Grayson Tutt; three sisters, Irene Schmidt, Cynthia Prokupek and Sarah Barrick (Johnny); two brothers, Tommy Wilson and Curtis Wilson (Sara Lou); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Hendrick Wilson and Harold Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
