Joseph Bishop

          Joseph Marshall Bishop, 44, Glasgow, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  Born October 19, 1979 in Glasgow, he was the son of Patricia “Tootie” Button Bishop and the late Billy Marshall Bishop.

          In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons: William Connor Marshall Bishop and Warran Lee Dean Bishop; a sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey Bishop Nunn and William Stuart Nunn; his fiancée Sabrina Jones; three uncles: Danny Bishop, Woody Gardner, and Bill Button; along with several cousins, a niece, and nephews.

          In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marshall and Geneva Bishop, and Terrell and Jeanette Button; and an aunt, Sandra Bishop Gardner.

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy should be made to the charity of your choice.
