Michael Wren

          Michael Anthony Wren, 63, Glasgow, died Monday, September 9, 2024 at the T J Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Marion County, he was the son of the late Johnny Putnam Wren and Nellie Mae Faulkner Wren.  He was a former employee of ACK Controls in Glasgow and a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.

          Survivors include his wife Martha; two daughters: Kimberly Wren and Carisa Wren; four grandchildren: Aaliyah Wren and Alric Wren Damion Walden, and Adrianna Mcanneny; a special friend, Melvin Cobb; two brothers: Darryl Wren and Ronnie Wren; two sisters: Patsy Nunn and Sheila Wren; several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Johnny Wren and Howard Wren; and three sisters: Betty Lawson, Norma Wheeler, and Sharon Mitchell.

          Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bowles Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses at Funds – Treasured Memories Community Funding (tmcfunding.com)
