Brian Blair

          Brian Charles Blair, 44, Glasgow, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling.  A native of Jefferson County, he was the son of Larry Gordon Blair and Theresa Lynn Bidwell Blair.

          Brian was a Senior Industrial Air Technician with John Bouchard & Sons.  He was a loving husband and son, and a wonderful father to his children.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed; whether it be family, friends, or schools.

          Brian is survived by his wife Heather (Looney) Blair; three children: Brianna Pittman, Austin Blair, and Raegan Blair; one granddaughter, Audrey; his parents: Terri and Larry Blair; and his brother David Blair (Amanda).

          Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be after 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Glasgow High School Performing Arts or to a favorite charity.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

    Brian, David, and Larry were all part of the Specialty Tool family, I think I speak for all of us, that the grief of his departure is quite overwhelming, Brian was part of our family. He was super intelligent, very capable, and very caring. Our hearts weep out for the entire family .

    I enjoyed working with Brian at Akebono very much. He was very intelligent, happy, and caring. He always made time to come by and check on me when I was out from work and worked on my automobiles at a discounted price. He will be missed and my condolences go out for his family.
