Christine Frances Culver Dean, 86, Glasgow, died Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the Barren County Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late John and Ellen Cox Culver. She was a retired employee of Kentucky Pants Co. with 32 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Dean; one daughter, Martha Leslie Martin and her husband, Danny, of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Johnson and his wife, Lindsay, of Boulder, CO, and Eli Johnson of Lexington; two step-grandchildren, Andrea Smith and husband, Chris, of Glasgow, and Heather Wilson and husband, Jeff, of Cave City; one step-great-grandchild, Laura Wilson; one sister, Ella Lewis Johnson of Glasgow; two sisters-in-law, Mary Gatewood Culver and Louise Culver, both of Glasgow; special friend, Jamie Buchanan of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Clara Franklin, Stella Peden, Madeline Calvert and Hattie Lou Groce; four brothers, Bronner, Hughie, Stanley and Lawrence Culver.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
