Annie Lorene Hudson Daniel Delk, 80, Glasgow, went to be with her Lord on February 16, 2009. She was at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Center after a lengthy illness.
Annie was born May 14, 1928, in Bowling Green, KY and later moved to Glasgow with her husband and children to make a new home. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow, a stay-at-home Mom and loved by all who knew her.
She was a loving wife to William “Wa” Delk and loving mother to Stephen Delk and Wanda Daniel London (Tom). She is also survived by two sisters, Jerline Wright (Mats) and Polly Gann of Indianapolis; three brothers, Calvin Hudson (Nancy), Clifton Hudson (Georgia) and Cecil Hudson all of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver, Judy Gossett.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Nickles Daniel; one son, Howard Nickles “Nicky” Daniel, Jr.; her parents, Hughie and Jennie Hudson; one brother, Carl Hudson and his wife, Merline.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
