Marshall Logan Smith, 66, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Woodrow Smith, Sr. and Katherine Dooley Smith.
He is survived by three children: Marsha DeTalente of Cave City, Cathy Page of Tompkinsville and Richard Smith of Glasgow; seven grandchildren: Christy Biggerstaff, Amanda Turner, Kandis Toney, Anthony Knowland, Joshua Powell, Jesse Powell and Whitney DeTalente; three brothers: Jimmy Smith, Woodrow Smith Jr. and Terrall Smith; four sisters: Jenny Kingrey, Loretta Wood, Janice Rhea and Shirley Henry; five great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alta Juanita Smith; three brothers: Clifton Smith, Michael Smith and Robert Smith; two sisters: Glora J. Smith and Mary L. Smith.
Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 P. M. Friday at the funeral home.
