Earl Proffitt, 86, of Glasgow, died Saturday, April 20, 2002 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Brokett Proffitt and Roenna Dickinson Proffitt.
He is survived by two sons: Doug Proffitt and his wife Sandra of Geneva, New York and Roger Proffitt and his wife Kathy of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Amy Fisher and her husband Tim of Glasgow, Stacy Proffitt of Geneva, New York, Stanley M. Proffitt and his wife Deborah of Geneva, New York and Shelia Case and her husband Patrick of Canandaigua, New York; two great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Fisher and Jacob Case; one brother: Orel “Dick” Proffitt of Bowling Green, KY.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
