Grace C. Jones, 86, Hiseville, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at the Caverna Hospital. A daughter of the late Avery and Minnie Ritter Craighead, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Jones and his wife, Pat, of Louisville, William Jones and his wife, Diana, of Hiseville, Glenn Jones and friend, Doris Warf, of Hiseville; one daughter, Ruth Ward and her husband, Robby, of Uno; six grandchildren, Jeff Jones and wife, Tammy, Doug Jones and wife, Genelle, Chad Jones, Josh Jones, Adam Jones and Melanie Ward; three great-granddaughters, Ally Grace Jones, Emi Jones and Ella Cate Jones; one sister, Maymie Spillman of Griderville; three sisters-in-law, Emma Lou Jones, Irene Jones and Jean Craighead; two brothers-in-law, Charles Jones and H. B. Spillman; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claud W. Jones; three sisters, Ellie Hare, Allie Meeks and Enna Meeks; four brothers, Clarence Craighead, Ernest Craighead, Delmous Craighead and James Craighead.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hiseville Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
