Royce Bruton
May 15, 1949 ~ January 5, 2010
Royce Bruton, 60, Glasgow, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at his residence. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late James Elbert and Lennie Garrett Bruton. He was a former machinist at SKF in Glasgow and was an army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Sheryl Anderson and husband, Robert, of Glasgow; one daughter, Wendy Bruton Arms and husband, Matt, of Columbia, MO; one son, Dusty Bruton of Bowling Green; three step-grandchildren, Afton Anderson, Kelsey Anderson and Creek Pace; one sister, Jean (Reggie) Frazier of Glasgow; four brothers, David (Joan) Bruton of Greensburg, IN, Donald (Beverly) Bruton of Smiths Grove, Kenneth (Thelma) Bruton of Champaign, IL, and Billy Bruton of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Vaudine O’Brien and one brother, Douglas Bruton.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
