April Nichole Stephens, 21, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She is the daughter of David Stephens and Peggy Whitlow Stephens.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband Chad Alen Mortorff; one sister: Amber Jo Stephens;maternal grandmother: Sylvia Whitlow; several Aunts and Uncles.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

I’m so sorry to hear about April. I only got to meet her briefly at the hospital when i visited Aunt Betty before she passed, April was a darling girl and just a pleasure to be around. I know in my heart that she is with Uncle Howard and Aunt Betty now and a beautiful Angel that will look over you all the rest of your day’s here on earth. Love you all. Pam

Peggy, David, and family….I am truly sorry for your loss. I can not imagine what you all are going through at this time. I was shocked when I first learned of this news. My thoughts went back to the time we lived next door to you all, and I would see your “little girls” running and playing in the yard. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
