Gus T. Kinslow
June 21, 1934 ~ October 17, 2010
Gus T. Kinslow, 76, Glasgow, was born June 21, 1934 and passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Thompson Botts Kinslow and Lydia Mae Houchens Kinslow. Gus was a retired diesel and auto mechanic, having worked in the Louisville area prior to his returning to Barren County. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, but in recent years prior to his declining health he attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Gregory A. Kinslow and wife, Rebecca, of Hiseville; two daughters, Tammy Kinslow of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Carla Kinslow of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Emily and Sam Kinslow of Hiseville and Ben Kinslow of Houston; three brothers, Charles B. Kinslow and wife Ella, Roy D. Kinslow and wife Margie, and Leslie B. Kinslow and wife Wanda; four sisters, Frankie Peden and husband, Rollin, Nell Houchens, Margaret Crain, and Betty Ann Staples and husband, Kenneth; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary T. Kinslow, and a sister, Marie Ramey.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dear Greg and Carla and family: Steve read about Gus T. in this mornings paper. From all of us please know that Gene B. had the fondest memories of Gus. We lost Gene 4 years ago this month. I know Gus will be sadly missed. N. Jeanne, Steve, Bruce and Cyndy.
WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT GUS. HE WAS IN THE ROOM NEXT TO ROBERT AT THE NURSING HOME . HE CAME OVER EVERY DAY AND TALKED TO US. RIP IN PEACE GUS WE LOVED YOU AND WILL MISS YOU.
