Ruth Edmunds
January 25, 1931 ~ August 1, 2005
Ruth Elizabeth Bowles Edmunds, 74, Old Bowling Green Road, Glasgow, died Monday, August 01, 2005, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Alma Riley Bowles. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beckton Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Edmunds; one daughter, Joy Darlene Lawson and her husband, Rodger; two grandsons, Rodger Lawson, Jr. and his wife, Hilarie, and Brad Lawson all of Glasgow; one great-granddaughter, Mallory Elizabeth Lawson; one sister, Charlotte Rigdon and her husband, Jesse Ray, of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Gibbons, Dorris Stephens and Ivone Broady.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 noon and after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
