Stacey Denise Cross Guard
June 14, 1965 ~ August 1, 2011
Stacey Denise Cross Guard, 46, of Cave City, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital. She is the daughter of the late William Ivan Cross and Louise Elizabeth Harper Cross.
She is survived by two sons: Dakota Blake Pearson and Elisha Daylan Ingram; two granddaughters: Brittney Nicole Pearson and Brooklyn Kay Pearson; three brothers: Ivan Ray Cross “Dot” Melvin LeRoy Cross “Wanda” and Doug Cross “Gail”; two sisters: Elsie Meredith “Dwight” and Becky Phelps “Earl”; several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Steven Mark Cross, Marvin Joe Cross and Dennis Lynn Cross; one sister: Ruby Inez Winchester.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
stacey, i love u & will miss u dearly. until we meet again my friend. for ur family & friends may u seek comfort n knowing she is in a better place & a day will come 2 reunite with her again, 2 see her smile & 2 hear her laugh & 2 feel her touch, she is with us all 4 her spirit lives on.
Stacey I can’t believe your gone! All the things we have done together! Remember the time we came in and I kept Moma’s care out to long! WEW! DId we get in trouble! Restin Peace my friend! You are out of this ole world! I miss you! Until we met again!
Oh Stacey we became friends more than 20 yrs ago, im havin a hard time believin you are gone. I will always love you and cherish our time we spent together. I will miss you so much but your time here is done. Rest in peace my lovin friend.

I am so sorry for your loss, Stacey will be missed so much. I loved being around her, she could walk in a room and it light up, its not going to be the same without her around. Shes in a better place now and im sure shes lighting heaven up a little brighter with her laugh..

So sorry to hear of Stacey’s death. I haven’t seen her in along time. We were good friends at Hiseville, we laughed alot and i know that was her highlight because she had a little funny sound to how she laughed. She was such a good person. I know she will be missed alot and i am sure she shined alot of light on thosed she was around, You as her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
