Elizabeth Agnes Wilson Turner, 91, of Glasgow, KY, widow of Mitchell Turner, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Taylor Manor Nursing Home in Versailles, KY. Elizabeth was born March 10, 1921, in Barren County, to Willie and Sallie Wilson. She was a member of the Mizpah Sunday School class, and a lifelong member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Turner Glass and James Glass of Versailles; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Judith and Lindsay Buchanan and great-granddaughter Eleanor Buchanan, all of West Chester, Ohio; brother-in-law Clay Turner (Earline) of Glasgow, two sisters-in-law, Ruth Wilson of Comanche, Texas, and Marie Wilson of Bon Ayr, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by seven brothers, Felix Henry, John Read, Frank Alfred, Morris Page, Luther Ernest, William Philip, and James Albert Wilson, and five sisters Mary Cornelius Wilson, Fannie Humphrey, Ethel Gray, Jeanette Hale, and Jean Pearl Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Monday and before the funeral Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special word of appreciation to the loving care given by the staff at Taylor Manor Nursing Home.

I am sad to hear bout Aunt Liz’s passing! She was an amazing woman and I was glad to be part of her family and have been able to get to know her! I wished I could have traveled home to pay my respects and say my good-bye.

I am was sorry to hear of your mother’s passing, did not know in time to get to the Funeral Home to pay my respects to a great person, Glenn and I was fortunate to have know your mother and dad for many years, along with her members of the Wilson family.
