Clayton Parker

Lawrence Clayton Parker, 67, Cave City, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Greenwood Health Care Center in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Lawrence Houston and Alice Ann Ballard Parker. He was a retired farmer and a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include one son, Steven Clay Parker and wife Amanda of Cave City; one step-son, Ernie Lee Staples and wife Mary of Cave City; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Ashley Dennison, Tonya Dennison, Brittany Dennison and Chelsia Minks; two brothers, Lawrence Clavon Parker and William Clavon Parker; three sisters, Mary Emma Parker, Judy (Wayne) Price, and Susie Gill; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

OUR CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR YOUR LOSS OF CLAYTON PARKER. HE WAS ACTUALLY RELATED TO MY GRANDMOTHER, PAULINE PARKER MILLS SHE IS ALSO KIN TO WOODY PARKER THAT LIVES OVER HERE BEHIND US. BUT THEY WERE NOT CLOSE KIN BUT STILL RELATED. SORRY FOR THE LOSSES YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. THEY SAY THEY COME IN 3’S, THEY DID FOR ME, BUT I HOPE THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
