William Clayton Neal, 75, Edmonton, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at his residence. A native of Metcalfe County, he was a son of the late George and Flora Pierce Neal. He was a member of Big Meadow Baptist Church, and was a plumber for 51 years and a backhoe operator.

Survivors include his wife Betty Carol Neal; two sons: Ronnie Lee Neal, and Michael David Neal and his wife Darlene, all of Glasgow; one daughter: Lisa Barrett and husband Cory of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Daniel Buchanan and wife Robin, Matthew Compton and wife Emily, Tyler Neal, David Neal, and Micah Neal; four great-grandchildren: Alisha, Cody, and Courtney Buchanan, and Gracie Compton; one brother: Thomas Neal of Edmonton; two sisters: Juanita Smith and husband Jackie, and Lois Edwards; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
