Brenda and family, just know that prayers are sent your way. It is always a sad time to lose a loved one but know they are in a better place, may you get comfort from words and prayers of friends and loved ones. Lyla said to me this morning, “Brenda’s mama is sick”, I said yes Lyla but now she is in heaven. She said softly, “she’s in heaven”. Even the little ones have the feeling of sadness. God bless you and your family is my prayer.

I have such fond memories of Nina. Growing up, I was always happy to see her because she made me feel special. I’ll always hold her special in my heart. She and my mother (Beula Mae) were childhood friends and they both always cherished that friendship. Of course my Uncle Ray and Dallas were childhood friends as well and that friendship was just as special to them. I just know Mama was there waiting to greet Nina when she went through Heaven’s gate. You are all in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come. God bless you.
