David R. Lyons

David R. Lyons, 60, of Horse Cave, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a son of Ruth Callahan Lyons.

Besides his mother he is survived by one son: Nathan Lyons; three grandchildren: Drake Lyons, Braden Lyons and Blake Lyons.

There will be no services the family has chosen cremation. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

    David was the best Dad and Grandfather and friend ever. He loved Nathan and our boys more than anyone could imagine, and treated me just like i was his own flesh and blood daughter not just his daughter in law. He would do anything he could to help someone out. I know all the suffering is over and he is in a better place but we miss and love him so. It’s hard to believe that we aren’t going to able to see him everyday. Love you David.
