Cory Lynn Barrett

Cory Lynn Barrett, 57, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington. He was a son of Jack Barrett and his wife Carol and the late Glenda Jo Lowery Barrett.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa Diane Neal Barrett; four children: Deven Thornton (Jonathan Thornton), Melissa Wells (Brian Campbell), Matt Compton (Emily Compton) and Daniel Peden (Robin Peden); special daughter: Alisha Buchanan; twelve grandchildren: Tessa, Regan, Cody, Courtney, Gracie, Avery, Emma Kate, Barrett, Everett, JonMichael, Samuel and Makayle; two great-grandchildren: Sophia and Leighton; one brother: Allen Barrett (Sherry).
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Allen, Jack and entire Barrett family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Cory well but I knew I could count on him to occasionally make a great comment on my Facebook page when those Kentucky Wildcats were running up and down the floor. He and I sure had those CATS in common. May he rest in peace and may the wonderful memories carry you all through in the days ahead.

I just think so much of you Lisa and I just want you to know if you need anything please please let me know! Corey will be so very missed, the girls at the store are all so heartbroken, he was just Corey ! we all will miss him so very much
