Laura Francis Woodcock
October 1, 1940 ~ July 24, 2016
Laura Francis Woodcock, 75, Glasgow, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at NHC Healthcare of Glasgow. A native of Temple Hill, she was a daughter of the late Jess and Edna Mae Matthews Belcher. She was a former employee of Ky Pants Company with 20 years of service after which was employed in the Environmental Services Dept. at T. J. Samson Community for 18 years. She was a member of the Refuge Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter: Kim Crowe and her husband Brian; one son: Roy Wayne Woodcock and his wife Teresa; three grandsons: Stephen Brian Crowe, Bradley Allen Crowe and his wife Lindsay Raines, and Nathan James Woodcock all of Glasgow; three sisters; Edith Bell and husband Bob of Glasgow, Mary Ann Spaeth of California, and Nancy Steele and husband Don of Florida; two brothers: Doug Belcher and wife Frenchie of Temple Hill and Danny Belcher of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Woodcock; and three siblings: Carolyn Mussnug, Shirley Walkup, Guy Williams Belcher, and Rosie Lee Belcher.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continue Thursday morning at the funeral home.
The family would like to give special thanks to NHC Healthcare and especially the nursing staff on Station 3 for their extreme care and kindness. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Gideons International.

I knew Laura from TJSamson many years ago. She was a hard worker,always wanted everything to be the best as possible. She went above & beyond of what was asked or expected of her. She was truly a wonderful lady & will be missed. So sorry for your loss.
Kim and Roy Lee, I am so sorry about your mom passing. Ms. Woodcock was such a sweet lady and was always smiling. You all are in my prayers. We never forget our childhood friends no matter where we live.

I went to school with Laura Francis but I remember her so much as a very young girl how good she was to my Grandmother,Violia Bartley.She was one of the sweetest people I ever knew .I know all of you will miss her very much Love.Maryjane Wiley Taylor
