Lemuel Wayne Sneed, 64, of Glasgow passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his home surrounded by his immediate family. He was the son of the late Reverend Glenn and Nola Keltner Sneed. Wayne attended Shiloh General Baptist Church where he was baptized on October 23, 2016. He was retired from Dairyman Incorporated, an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing and spending time with his two grandsons.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years: Lavonda Crowe Sneed; one daughter: Casey Sneed Vibbert “Jeremy”; two grandsons: Kaeleb Brennan and Kaeden Matthew Vibbert; mother-in-law: Rosie Nell Crowe; brother-in-law: Dewayne Crowe “Teresa”; sister-in-law: Glenda Wilson “George”; niece: Heather Shelton “Dewayne”; nephew: Barton Wilson “Mailey”, two great nieces: Emmory Katherine Shelton and Stella Jean Shelton; three aunts: Buena Kinslow, Clarice Rose Buckingham and Nancy Renfro; one uncle: George Henry Keltner, and a host of family and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law William Crowe.

Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Wayne was a close friend of mine when he lived in Chatsworth, IL. And stayed friends since. The last time I saw Wayne was two years ago at Mammoth Cave. We had a great time for the hours that we visited. I got a chance to talk with Wayne in August. We always talk around our B-Day’s because they were close. I will miss my good friend of many years.
