Dorothy Grace Glidewell

Dorothy Grace Glidewell, 81, Glasgow, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at her son’s residence in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Jennie Bunch Bruton. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one sister: Christine Bruton; seven children: Shirley Neal and husband Danny, Debbie England and husband Mike, Ricky Pedigo and wife Connie, Judy Lawrence and husband Tommy, Loretta Miller, Tammy Glidewell, Jessie Glidewell and wife Kendra; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four children: Connie, Peggy, Jackie, and Melvin, Jr.; by two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mom, I hope you are at peace now ,because I have worried so with everything going on since your sickness began.You will be truly missed & I will do my best to carry on with the family .I knew this day would come but I was not prepared .I don’t think anyone could be under the circumstances .I pray for peace for all .Love you mom,Tammy
So sorry for the loss of Dorothy. I remember her from several years ago walking around on Shamrock. Such wonderful memories. She was a very nice lady to everyone she met. Keeping you all in my thoughts & Prayers. Praying for God to comfort each and everyone of you.

Tammy & Jessie, I’m so sorry to hear about her passing and I’ll be praying for you all… She was a wonderful person and she was always sweet and kind to me… I can remember several weekends spending the night and having a blast…. She was / is very precious I’ll miss you miss lady I can still see you sitting on the porch ty for the time you let me spend with ur family… You will truly be missed but never forgotten…. If y’all need anything plz don’t hesitate… God plz wrap ur loving arms around this family and help them find peace and comfort…
