Billy Joe McClure

Billy Joe McClure, 80 of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was a son of the late William Woodrow (Bill) McClure and Margaret (Maggie) Poteet McClure. He was a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by one daughter: Patricia (Pat) Osborne and her husband Tim; two sons: Terry and Kevin McClure; one grandson: William McClure; two brothers: Danny and Shirel McClure, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Rose Aver McClure and his sister Linda Bostic.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home; burial was in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning until time for services.
I met your sweet father a few years ago after the passing of his wife when he came in to my insurance office. He was visibly upset the day he came in and my heart broke for him much like it does for you all today. For many months later I would mail him cards on the holidays and other times just to say hi. He always had a hug for me when he came into the office. He was such a kind soul. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
