Mary Nell Wiley Thomason

Mary Nell Wiley Thomason, 75, Park City, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Martha Susan Williams and Joseph Walter Wiley. She was a retired employee of Sorensen’s and a member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Byrd and husband, Philip, of Glasgow; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Alisha Gail Cline and great-grandson, Jerry Keith Cline of Glasgow; her best friend and caregiver, Eunice David Simmons of Park City; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Georgie Botts Thomason; one son, Georgie Joe Thomason; two sisters, Inez Buster and Ina Dyer; four brothers, Denton Wiley, Hoover Wiley, Leonard Wiley and Ray Wiley.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
