Chris Walden
March 26, 1985 ~ January 14, 2019
Christopher Delane Walden, 33, Glasgow, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 14, 2019, at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. The Barren County native was a painter and an employee of Neal’s Recycling. He was very artistic, an avid pool player, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Britney Price Walden; one daughter, Laina Jean Walden; three step-children: Shaylynn Jewell, William Price Jewell, Katie Danielle Grimsley; his mother, Loretta Lynn Walden; his father, Mark Douglas Jackson; paternal grandmother, Wilma Cotton; two brothers: Orrie Walden (Catrina) and Matt Palmore; one sister: Kellie Jo Jackson; one step-brother, Josh Melton; one step-sister: Rhonda Stevenson; two nieces, Torrie Walden and Brooklyn McCawley; one nephew, Nolan Furlong; four aunts: Kathy Holley (Harry), Martha Neal (Eli), Barbara Stilts, and Gail McGrew; two uncles: Michael Jackson (Becky) and Derek Jackson; numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jerry and Norma Walden and great-grandfather, Bedford Walden; his paternal grandfather Doc Jackson; and an uncle and best friend, Michael Steven Stilts.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Walden Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Friday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses.

No words I have to say could ever begin to take your pain away. I am praying for all of you to get through this. It’s nothing that will ever go away but you get used to it everyday! May God give you comfort during this time.
