Elma Hall Redman, 91, of Glasgow, died Thursday, October 18, 2001 at the NHC Nursing Home in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Charles Elmore Hall and Cora Matilda Richardson Hall and the wife of the late Waldo Redman. She was a home economist with Kentucky Utilities and was the field representative for the State Central Committee of the Kentucky Federation of Republican Women. She retired as state organization chairman of the Republican Party July 1, 1975. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Glasgow.
She is survived by four daughters: Helen Joyce Luster and her husband Robert of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Judith Ann Shivley and her husband Thomas D. of Roseville California, Martha Lou Miller of Avon Lakes, Ohio and Mary Hall Goodman and her husband Joe Lewis, III of Glasgow; Twelve grandchildren and Thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Glasgow with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the First Christian Church.
