Marjorie Hammer Coleman, 89, Crestview Drive, Paducah, and formerly of Glasgow, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lucy Downing Hammer. She and her late husband, Clay Reid Coleman, owned and operated the Coleman Dairy in Glasgow for many years and also worked for the Tobacco Market in Glasgow, Georgia and North Carolina. She was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church for 80 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorathy Simmons and her husband, Bobby, of Paducah; One Granddaughter, Nancy Simmons Ragland and her husband, Rick, of Paducah; two great-grandchildren, Wesley Clay Ragland and Rea Ann Ragland both of Paducah.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2002, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11:00 A. M. Monday.
