Elvin (Buddy) Clifford Bridges, 80, of Railton, KY died Sunday, April 28 at the Britthaven Nursing Home in Bowling Green. He was the son of the late William C. Bridges and Rosa Wood Bridges. He was of the Baptist Faith a veteran of WWII and a member of the Hays Masonic Lodge #517.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Dorothy Cole Bridges; two daughters: Kathy Elmore and her husband Tommy of Finney and Melanie Wright and her husband Chris of Smiths Grove; one granddaughter: Lindy Elmore; five brothers: Leathel Bridges and his wife Edith of Smiths Grove, Frankie Bridges of Smiths Grove, Harold Bridges and his wife Peggy of Park City, Ed Bridges and his wife Anna Rose of Louisville and Curtis Bridges and his wife Arlene of Indianapolis, IN; one sister: Louise Neagle and her husband Ernest of Portland, TN; one sister-in-law; Phyllis Bridges of Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by one brother: Homer Bridges.
Funeral will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
