Terry Lynn Scott, 49, Tompkinsville, died Wednesday at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Sanford and Myrtle Pace Slayton.
Survivors include one son, William Jay Bowles and his wife, Beverly of Edmonton; three daughters, Jennifer A. Powell and her husband, Michael of Burkesville, Kathy L. Thompson and her husband, Phillip of Tompkinsville, Sherry Jo Balfour and her husband, Larry of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Tucker Bowles, Dalton Bowles, Hailey Balfour and Terry Balfour; five sisters, Glenda Krapt of Breeding, Sylvia Emberton of Louisville, Shirley Pursley of Glasgow, Barbara Cook of Hiseville and Judy Coomer of Beaumont; special friends, Rhonda and Donnie Sturgeon of Summer Shade and David Proffitt of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Scott, one sister, Ruby Kettles and an uncle, Flavia Pace.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
