Emma Lykins Wood, 94, Glasgow, died Saturday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A daughter of the late Newton and Mary Hatcher Lykins, she was a retired teacher with the Glasgow City Schools. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Glasgow for 82 years, where she had also been very active in missionary circles. She was also a member of the Glasgow Chapter 257 of the Order of Eastern Star for more than 60 years.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Willard (Frances) Edwards of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
