Patty Steen Marsh, 78, Glasgow , died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 , at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County , she was a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Christian Church. She had been a resident at NHC for the past 34 years. Her parents were the late J. P. “Pat” Steen and Willie Anderson Steen.
Survivors include three children, Jennifer Elrod (Frank) of Starkville, MS, Debra Miller of Denver, CO, and Sam Marsh II (Terri) of Kansas City, KS; two brothers, Joe Steen (Sara) of Louisville and Doug Steen (Joyce) of Glasgow; one sister, Sue Pedigo (Don) of Glasgow; one step-sister, Sue Calvert (Cecil) of Scottsville; two grandchildren, Andrea Elrod and Sam Marsh III; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Gentry; a brother-in-law, James Gentry; a step-brother, Aaron Turner and her step-mothers, Christine Crawford Steen and Nellie Turner Steen.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
