Lizzie Dee Bunch, 98, formerly of the Beckton Community of Barren County , died Thursday, April 8, 2004 , at the Medical Center of Independence, Missouri. She had lived with her daughter, Margaret Patterson, in Independence for the past 10 years. Born March 19, 1906 in Glasgow , she was the daughter of the late James and Flora McClellan Slayton.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Patterson; four grandchildren, Sharon Myers, Rollin Patterson, Janice Letson and Gilda York; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Bunch, and her son, Willard Bunch.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens . Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
