Christine Barlow Colliver, 85, Goodnight, died Saturday, July 03, 2004 , at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County , she was the daughter of the late Ethel Roberts and Harmon Howard Barlow, Sr. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and had served in various positions. She was an extension agent for home economics, a home economist, a teacher and a homemaker. She was a member of the Jefferson Homemakers Club, the Gideons International Auxiliary and the Salem Baptist Church .
Survivors include two sons, John Howard Colliver and his wife, Lois, of Louisville, and Donald Gayle Colliver and his wife, Becky, of Nicholasville; four grandchildren, Todd Colliver of Louisville, Sara Colliver of Nashville, Jeremy Colliver and his wife, Laura, of Morehead, and Jason Colliver of Nicholasville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Colliver and one brother, Harmon Barlow.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
